God
God is one God. He is creator of all in the beginning. He has always been and will always be. He is supreme and all-powerful, but also very personal. God has made Himself available to know Him personally. He does not change and is Holy in all His attributes. He is Father, Son and Holy Spirit, three persons, but one God in perfect fellowship with Himself.
Truth
Truth is not just what an individual believes, but a universal standard by which all are answerable and governed. Just as gravity applies to all, so does the written Word of God (Bible). Jesus Christ while on earth knew this when He said, "Sanctify them in the truth; your Word is truth." Since the Bible is truth, it is more than a Holy book written by man. It is the source of all known truth. It is inspired, written, and spoken by God to these writers. "All Scripture is breathed out by God and is profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, that the man of God may be competent, equipped for every good work." Since the Bible is God's Word, He has protected its accuracy through the ages and it is without error.
Truth also goes beyond God's Word. It is personified in God's son, Jesus Christ. Jesus himself said, "I am the way, the truth and the life no man comes to the Father, but by me." These words that Jesus spoke about himself are true because Jesus Christ rose from the dead. The resurrection of Jesus Christ validates all that Jesus Christ has said as truth. No other man in human history has ever risen from the dead, and no other miracle in human history has as much evidence than the resurrection of Jesus Christ. Because Jesus Christ rose from the dead, He proved once and for all that He is GOD Almighty. Jesus Christ is Supreme over all and all will one day bow to their knees at the mention of His name.
Faith
One's faith must be in something or someone. One cannot just say I have faith but not have it attached to a person or an item. Faith is belief in action. To just say, "I believe in God," but not have placed all faith in Jesus Christ is to not have separated yourself from the demons, for they believe in God and tremble. Everyone must be converted for Salvation. Conversion means "to turn." True conversion is to turn from all your sin (sin is the wrong we do by breaking God's law) and turn to Jesus Christ by faith alone to be saved. We are saved from the wrath of God, bondage of sin, spiritual death, and eternal separation from God. The turning by faith to Jesus Christ is to personally trust in the One who "died on the cross for our sins, according to the Scripture, and that he was buried and that he rose again from the grave, according to the Scripture."
Grace
"For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast." Grace is the way God chose to save us. He did not choose for us to do anything. He did it through Jesus Christ and His work on the cross and resurrection. God's motivation was His love for men and women and their helplessness. This is our hope: that Christ alone saves those who have received the grace given to them. So mankind not only did not get what they deserved for their disobedience, but also received eternal life. God brought us back into relationship with Himself.
Freedom
"For freedom Christ has set us free; stand firm therefore, and do not submit again to a yoke of slavery." As one who as received the free gift of salvation of Jesus Christ, we are no longer slaves to sin but set free through Jesus Christ and His work on the cross and resurrection from the dead. When Jesus Christ went to heaven He did not abandon His followers, but God the Holy Spirit has come to indwell all who have personally trusted Jesus Christ for salvation. It is only through the Holy Spirit of God that one can live the abundant life through Jesus Christ.
